Top 10 of the decade.

Lots of people hated 2019 and even the last decade but my whole adult life happened in the last decade!  And while the world seems to be struggling in 2019, I think I'll mostly remember it as the year we settled down.

Here are my top 19 of the decade (in chronological order)

1. Got married to o the smartest, handsomest guy
2. Lived and loved our first home
3  Accidentally found my dream job
4. Visited Thailand
5. Lived in DC for a summer
6. My Rey was born and made all my dreams come true
7. Moved into the home of my literal dreams
8. CoCo completed our family
9. ATM cave tour in Belize
10. Got to see my husband through a PhD program and land his dream job - he makes me proud

Iowa Christmas

Reyna and headed on a road trip to Iowa the day after Christmas.
We got to spend time with new cousins

 Lots of playing and eating.

Christmas Eve and Santa.

Christmas was a lot of things.
Toddler crazy.
 Family filled

 Cookie decorating

 Village playing.
Christmas Eve service was sweet. Reyna got to be an angel for the second year.

Christmas morning was fun especially with Reyna's excitement for Santa.
She didn't get the real baby unicorn she wanted but she got a people standing one.

Santa brought Marco the Paw Patrol lookout tower.

Review session

This is what my classroom looks like most days. This day happened to be a review day. Multiple stations are set up around the room. Students rotate through the stations and the answers are revealed at the stations so that they can self correct.
 QR code reader
 Dry erase practice stations
 Sequencing
 Fill in the blanks/matching.
I do teach college students but even if this seems juvenile they are ALWAYS glad for a change if pace from the classroom lecture.
It's a lot of work on the front end but seeing the students reaction and level of participation is always worth it.

Legoland San Antonio

We took a last minute to Legoland Discovery Center in San Antonio and I thought it was awesome!

Besides these awesome Lego builds, there was two small rides, two playgrounds, and the potential for a few building lessons.
Being from San Antonio, I was extra impressed with the landmarks they built.
Especially the church we got married in - Miision Conception.

It inspired me to create our home out of Legos!
